Matrimonial judges
On many occasions we’ve been called in at the request of matrimonial judges. The principal activities we perform for the Court relate to distribution of assets. They include:
- Business valuations of the privately owned businesses of divorcing parties
- In New York State, calculation of the enhanced earning capacity of licenses, degrees, and other credentials
- Lifestyle analysis for purpose of determining spousal support (aka maintenance, aka alimony)
- Analysis of tax returns and other data to determine the possibility of hidden assets and/or unreported income
I truly appreciate that the Justices of the New York State Supreme Court appoint me because they recognize that:
- I am neutral in attitude and approach.
- I am reliable and meet deadlines.
- I usually can and do make myself available on short notice.
